‘Little Fires Everywhere’ is a Hulu’s upcoming limited series Hulu based on Celeste Ng’s book. It has a top cast led by Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Washington, Rosemarie DeWitt, and Joshua Jackson who’ll now be joined by Daytime Emmy winner and Primetime Emmy nominee Obba Babatundé.
‘Little Fires Everywhere’ follows the mixed-up fates of the apparently perfect Richardson family, exploring their secrets, the difficulties of motherhood and the nature of identity. The show was created and written by Liz Tigelaar and produced by Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine, Simpson Street, and ABC Signature Studios.
Babatundé will play George Wright, the devout father of Mia, played by Kerry Washington. When her daughter’s decisions conflict with his morality in art school, he finds himself making choices he didn’t think he’d had to make.
Also starring with Babatundé, Witherspoon, and Washington are: Jade Pettyjohn as Lexie Richardson, Jordan Elsass as Trip Richardson, Gavin Lewis as Moody Richardson, Megan Stott as Izzy Richardson, and Lexi Underwood as Pearl Warren.
This announcement comes when Babatundé has a truly tight agenda. He’ll bee returning soon to the TV screen for Season 3 of the CBS action-drama show ‘S.W.A.T’ in his recurring role as Daniel Harrelson Sr. Also, we’ll also see him soon as Dean Fairbanks in Season 3 of Netflix’s show ‘Dear White People.’
Babatundé rose to TV acknowledgment in 2016 when we won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Performer in a Drama Series for his role as Julius Avant on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ by CBS, and a Primetime Emmy nomination for Supporting Actor for his portrayal in the HBO’s ‘Miss Evers’ Boys.’
